Samantha and Paul hail from NYC and brought their friends and family to celebrate a wedding weekend that was naturally N’awlins! A date of March 23rd was set and we enjoyed picture perfect Spring weather for a weekend of events planned that heavily relied on the outdoors. That same weekend, NYC was battling a snow storm and so needless to say everyone was thrilled with the couples’ decision to host a southern-destination wedding! After a traditional Rehearsal Dinner at Brennan’s Restaurant, all guests were invited to Brennan’s Courtyard for a Wedding Welcome Reception to enjoy a few cocktails and greet the bride and groom. Saturday was magical.

Samantha got ready with her bridal party in one of the Hotel Monteleone’s large Literary Suites which provided lots of space to sip champagne and have hair and makeup done by Flawless Bride. Samantha + Paul brought a very modern and clean style into their historic French Quarter venues. Margaret with Leaf + Petal NOLA was the perfect fit for this couple as she brought in geometric shaped centerpieces in glass & gold and softened with loose greens. We loved working with Sam because she was not afraid of color! Shades of burgundy, deep eggplants and midnight blue were softened with lilacs and peaches – creating a stunning contrast! Samantha + Paul were married under a Chuppah brought in and styled by Leaf + Petal NOLA.

Samantha’s grandfather’s prayer shawl draped the top to cover the couple while Sam’s aunt stood underneath and officiated the wedding and pronounced the couple as husband and wife. Seconds later, guests were ushered into the historic Hermann-Grima House courtyard where guests enjoyed a cocktail and the surprise arrival of Kinfolk Brass Band. The band led the couple and guests onto the street to Second Line in style through the French Quarter and ended at the entrance to Broussard’s Restaurant to kick off their cocktail hour. We loved having Kinfolk Brass Band stay to play for the cocktail hour while the couple dined alone for just a few minutes. They also helped kick off the Hora along with the emcee stylings and encouragement of Lethal Rhythms DJ  from Atlanta, GA. Although the wedding ended, the celebration did not. Samantha and Paul invited guests to join them for an afternoon meet up on Sunday at BB Kings Blues Club to enjoy delicious southern BBQ, specialty cocktails and a private balcony in the French Quarter while giving some special thanks & heart-felt goodbyes

A huge thank you to Mark Eric who captured some amazing moments from this day. Including an unforgettable First Look in Exchange Place. The couple just so happened to stand next to an address of 323 –their wedding date –how sweet is that?! The French Quarter creates such a magical backdrop for bridal parties that walk to their venue –every corner holds a unique photo op! Cheers to our Newlyweds, Mr. & Mrs. Campagna! We so enjoyed working with you and your hashtag greatness! #PopTheChampagna
